Know Land is a multiplayer quiz game. This page explains what we store about you, why, and how to delete it.

What we store

• Your player profile: display name, avatar, and your app and question languages.
• Game data: games played, wins, points, best score, Diamond Duel results and streaks, totals per difficulty level, and the IDs of the questions you saw recently, so they don't repeat.
• Sign-in: if you link Google or Apple, the account ID the provider gives us and, if it shares one, your email address. For Apple we also keep a token that lets us cancel the "Sign in with Apple" connection when you delete your account. Guest players get a random key stored on their device instead.
• Notifications: if you allow them, your device's push token, its platform and its language.
• Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to limit abuse (for example, how many accounts one network can create per minute). It is not stored with your profile.

We don't collect your contacts, location, photos or advertising IDs, and the game has no ads.

Why

To run matches and leaderboards, keep your progress across devices, deliver game invites and occasional announcements, and keep the game fair and safe.

Who can see it

Other players see your display name, avatar and game results in matches and on the leaderboards. Your email and linked accounts are shown only to you. We don't sell your data. We rely on these services to run the game, only as needed: Google (sign-in and Firebase Cloud Messaging), Apple (Sign in with Apple and notifications) and our hosting provider.

How long we keep it, and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account), or by email; see how to delete your account. Deletion immediately removes your profile, stats, leaderboard entries, linked sign-ins and push tokens. Copies in our server backups are gone within 14 days.

Children

The game is meant for a general audience. If you believe a child gave us personal data without permission, contact us and we will delete it.
